LEVEL 2: FACILITATION PRACTICUM

Breathwork Facilitator Training

In Level Two, the teachings come alive through direct experience. You will breathe, you will guide, and you will begin to understand what it truly means to hold space for another human being in their most vulnerable and powerful unfolding.

This is a highly experiential training. You’ll practice facilitating one-on-one sessions, guiding a partner through a full breathwork journey, and co-facilitating in a group setting. You’ll learn to work with therapeutic touch, track nervous system cues, and respond to what’s arising in real time. Direct feedback and mentorship from the training faculty will help you refine your approach, build confidence, and grow in integrity as a facilitator.

Level Two is not only a training, but a ceremony in itself—a transformational space where the inner facilitator begins to root and blossom. You’ll be supported in discovering your own unique voice and medicine as a guide, grounded in trauma-informed practice, discernment, and embodied presence.

This is a powerful next step for those called to bring breathwork into their practice, community, or path of service—and for anyone ready to deepen in the art of holding space with care, clarity, and humility.

“This was one of the most memorable and impactful trainings I have ever attended. In just a few days, we built a vibrant, trusting community — a true testament to Tai’s ability to create containers that educate, inspire, and transform. Every detail was intentional, generous, and deeply supportive.”

– Jessi S.

Training Curriculum

  • A skilled facilitator learns to see and sense beneath the surface—tracking breath patterns, nervous system regulation, and subtle cues in body language and energy. In this training, you’ll refine your ability to observe without assumption, listen with your whole body, and recognize patterns that inform how best to support the breather. You’ll practice somatic assessment in both 1:1 and group formats, learning how to attune to each breather’s unique rhythm and needs.

  • Touch, when offered skillfully and with consent, can be a powerful tool to deepen safety, connection, and release. You’ll learn the principles of trauma-informed, intentional touch—supportive, instructive, invitational, and energetic—and how to apply hands-on techniques to support common breathing patterns, tension areas, and arousal states. Practice sessions will help you refine sensitivity, presence, and quality of contact.

You’ll gain practical experience giving and receiving touch in various areas of the body, with a strong emphasis on obtaining clear consent and reading verbal and nonverbal cues. We’ll also explore how to respond with touch to common breathing patterns and different states of nervous system arousal—supporting grounding, opening, or regulation as needed.

Throughout the training, you’ll receive valuable feedback from faculty and client partners to refine your presence and touch with integrity, responsiveness, and respect for each person’s unique process.

  • Breathwork often opens the door to the subtle body and energetic field. You’ll explore simple and effective ways to track and support the energetic dimension of a session—such as scanning for areas of density or congestion, inviting awareness to specific parts of the body, and offering subtle energetic guidance or grounding. This is about working in collaboration with your client’s inner intelligence, with humility and attunement.

  • Expanded state work can open both facilitator and client to strong emotional and energetic transmissions. You’ll learn how to stay grounded, clear, and resourced as a facilitator—and how to support your clients in doing the same. Topics include energetic boundaries, resourcing techniques, session closing rituals, and practices for clearing and protecting the space before, during, and after a session.

  • You’ll have the opportunity to facilitate partnered and group sessions while receiving direct observation and feedback from the training faculty. This hands-on mentorship is designed to help you grow in confidence, deepen your presence, and refine your approach as a facilitator. Feedback is offered with care, clarity, and respect for your unique style—helping you translate what you’ve learned into embodied, real-world skill.

Training Format

In-Person

5 days | 9:30am-5:30pm Pacific | 35 contact hours + reading

Level Two is offered exclusively in person.

Limited to a small cohort, this immersive format is intentionally experiential and relational. Over five days, participants move beyond theory into embodied practice — refining facilitation skills through live breathwork journeys, hands-on touch techniques, energetic tracking, and real-time feedback.

In-person learning is essential at this stage of development. The subtle dimensions of co-regulation, attunement, touch, and energetic presence cannot be transmitted conceptually — they are felt, practiced, and integrated within the shared field of the group. Through direct experience, supervised facilitation, and intimate mentorship, participants deepen their capacity to hold safe, responsive, and skillful containers for others.

This is not primarily didactic training. It is apprenticeship in embodied facilitation.

What’s Included

Completion of Level One is required to apply for Level Two. While not mandatory, we recommend that applicants have at least one year of personal experience with conscious breathwork, and a regular practice engaging the breath as a tool for healing and self-awareness.

This training is best suited for individuals who are psychologically grounded, mature in their own inner work, and stable in their life circumstances. If you are in the midst of a major life transition, recent trauma, or emotional instability, we recommend waiting until you feel more resourced to enter this deep and immersive container.

Level Two is an application-based training to ensure alignment and readiness for the intimate, experiential nature of the practicum. We welcome practitioners who feel genuinely called to share this work in a therapeutic and soul-centered way—whether as therapists, coaches, bodyworkers, or guides in your unique community.

Meet your Trainers

The Level Two training is instructed by lead faculty Tai Hubbert and Sharon Barto. Together, they bring decades of experience, grounded presence, and heart-centered leadership to the training space. Each training is also supported by a team of certified Kaisora facilitators who offer skilled, loving support throughout the journey.

Tai Hubbert

Tai Hubbert is the founder of Kaisora Breathwork and the lead trainer of its facilitator certification program. She brings over a decade of full-time private practice and a wealth of experiential knowledge from guiding thousands of sessions across all formats—online and in-person, one-on-one, group, and corporate. Her teaching is grounded not just in theory, but in the depth of lived experience.

Tai shares this work from the heart, with a sincere desire to help others reconnect to the innate wisdom of the body, psyche, and soul—and to the Divine within. Her approach is shaped by more than 20 years of immersive study in somatic psychology, spiritual traditions, shamanic healing, and expanded states of consciousness. As a teacher, she offers a rare blend of clarity, warmth, humility, and reverence for the sacred.

Sharon Barto

Sharon Barto is a certified Kaisora Breathwork Facilitator, experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 200), Psychic Medium, and Reiki practitioner who brings warmth, steadiness, and heart to her work. With over a decade of experience in somatic and energetic modalities, Sharon holds space for others to reconnect to their inner stillness, resilience, and wholeness.

Sharon's work is inspired by the Sanskrit word Anahata, the energetic heart center, which means “unstruck” or “unbroken”—a reminder that wholeness is always within us, even when we forget. Her approach invites students to return to that inner place of quiet strength and compassion.

In addition to her work as a facilitator and teacher, Sharon is an actor and philanthropy professional, bringing creativity and soul to every facet of her life.

FAQs

  • The core curriculum is the same in both formats. The primary difference lies in the container. Residential retreats offer the opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities and immerse yourself fully in the ceremonial space of the training—living, learning, and deepening in shared community. Without the logistics of commuting, meal planning, or tending to outside commitments, many find it easier to drop into the experience more fully.

Non-residential trainings, on the other hand, offer greater flexibility and accessibility—especially for those with work or family responsibilities, or who are looking for a more affordable option. These programs still provide a rich and immersive training experience, held in an intimate and supportive environment.

  • Yes. While Level Two is part of the broader Professional Certification pathway (Level Two & Level Three), it is also a space for deeper exploration. You may enter the training with curiosity and use the experience to discern whether facilitating breathwork feels aligned for you.

That said, because space is limited, priority is given to applicants who feel a clear intention to continue into Level Three and move toward professional facilitation—whether in private practice, group settings, or integrated into existing work.

Level Two offers hands-on experience, direct feedback, and a deeper immersion into the role of the facilitator, allowing you to more fully understand both the responsibility and the resonance of this path.

  • Kaisora welcomes many participants who have trained with other schools and facilitators and are seeking to deepen their skills in specific areas—such as trauma-informed facilitation, working with expanded states, or cultivating a more grounded and intuitive presence. Others are drawn to the unique ethos and orientation of the Kaisora approach.

Regardless of prior training, all participants are required to complete Level One before entering Level Two. This ensures a shared foundation, language, and alignment with the core values and principles that guide this work.

  • We generally encourage participants to complete Level One: Foundations of Facilitation before registering for Level Two, as it helps ensure alignment and resonance with the work and the approach.

That said, if you already feel called to continue, you’re welcome to submit an application after registering for Level One. From there, we can schedule a brief discovery call and share next steps for formal enrollment in Level Two.

  • Yes. You may choose a payment plan of four monthly installments at the time of registration. All payment plans include an initial $300 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space, with the remaining balance divided into equal monthly payments.

If you would benefit from a more customized payment schedule, you’re welcome to reach out—we’re happy to explore extended payment options when possible.

  • Kaisora does not govern when or in what context you choose to begin facilitating. That decision is shaped by your experience, background, and sense of readiness.

At the same time, Kaisora strongly recommends completing the Level Three Facilitation Mentorship before offering sessions in a professional capacity. This phase includes one-on-one mentorship, supervised practice, and session review, and is designed to support the transition into working with clients with greater confidence, safety, and discernment.

Level Three also supports the development of ethical practice, including working within scope, establishing clear agreements with clients, and ensuring appropriate professional structures—such as informed consent and liability coverage—are in place before facilitating publicly.

Upon completion of Level Two, you are welcome to reference your training (e.g. Level Two trained with Kaisora Breathwork), and are asked to represent your level of training accurately. You may not refer to yourself as a Kaisora Facilitator until certification has been received following Level Three.

Our priority is supporting you to guide this work with integrity, attunement, and care. Certification is not only a reflection of knowledge, but of readiness—and we’re here to support that process as it unfolds.
