Corporate Breathwork

Retreats & Offsites – Employee Wellbeing – Executive Leadership & Development

Breathwork is one of the most effective and accessible ways to release stress, reset the nervous system, and reconnect with clarity, creativity, and presence. In just a single session, participants often report feeling more grounded, focused, and inspired.

Whether offered at retreats, team events, or as part of ongoing wellness programming, breathwork is a high-impact, low-lift resource that supports not just individual wellbeing, but the health of your entire organization.

Chronic stress erodes performance, morale, and resilience. While many modalities offer support, breathwork works quickly, helping people shed accumulated tension and access more of their innate capacity. It also catalyzes flow states—expanded awareness where insight, vision, and intuitive problem-solving become more readily available.

In a world of increasing pressure and complexity, organizations have the opportunity not just to enhance productivity, but to help their people thrive within and beyond the workplace.

Considerations for Corporate Breathwork Events:

  • Breathwork is a powerful, accessible tool for connection, stress relief, and insight—but it’s also a modality that can open deep emotional and energetic terrain. For this reason, thoughtful consideration of the context and structure is essential to ensure a safe, inclusive, and empowering experience for all participants.

    Kaisora recommends the following:

    • Be mindful of group dynamics. Breathwork may elicit emotional release or expanded states of consciousness. Consider the emotional safety of the team and whether the container can support individual vulnerability.

    • Allow spaciousness. Schedule breathwork with ample time before and after so participants don’t need to quickly shift into cognitive or social activity post-session. Integration time is key.

    • Offer informed choice. Send a clear description of the breathwork process in advance so participants can make an informed decision about whether to opt in.

    • Create a safe and private environment. The space should be quiet and free from foot traffic, interruptions, or outside visibility to support participants in dropping into a deeper inner experience.

Due to the physiological and psychological effects of breathwork, it may not be appropriate for those with certain health conditions, including:

    • Pregnancy

    • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

    • Glaucoma, retinal detachment, or other conditions affected by increased ocular pressure

    • Epilepsy

    • Unmedicated bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or dissociative disorders

    • Histories of acute trauma or PTSD (unless the participant has established inner and external resources for processing)

These contraindications will be shared with all participants in advance, and participation is always by choice.

  • Kaisora offers breathwork in a variety of formats—online via Zoom, in-person, or hybrid events. While online sessions can accommodate large groups, in-person sessions benefit from a higher facilitator-to-participant ratio to ensure individualized support.

    • For in-person sessions of over 16–18 people, additional assistants are brought in.

    • For groups larger than 40, we recommend splitting into multiple sessions to preserve intimacy and support.

    • A minimum of 90 minutes is required, including orientation, breathwork, and closing. For deeper integration, 2 to 2.5 hours is ideal.

    • For retreats or offsites, integrated offerings including yoga, meditation, and extended group processing are available.

Please reach out to discuss your team’s needs—we’ll work with you to design a session that’s appropriate and impactful.

  • Breathwork is typically done reclined on yoga mats. Participants should have enough personal space—at least 2 feet between mats—to feel safe and at ease. A general guideline is 40 sq ft per person (e.g., 20 people in an 800 sq ft space).

    Each participant will need:

    • One yoga mat or cushioned surface

    • One or two blankets

    • A small pillow or cushion for comfort

Hotels may be able to supply props for event spaces. If needed, Kaisora can assist in sourcing or renting from local studios for a supplemental fee.

A quality sound system with bass is essential, as music plays a central role in the breathwork journey. Please ensure the venue allows for immersive music played at moderate to high volume.
